[Starlingx-discuss] starlingx-staging projects and OpenStack projects future plan

AFIK, Openstack projects on starlingx-staging *will* be end of life someday,
*AFTER* StarlingX moves to use upstream version (https://github.com/openstack) (starting from “Stein” release).
The rough timeline would be 2019 May or so.

For the diff b/w projects (such as neutron) and upstream projects, Starling (and related Openstack teams) are proposing patches to upstream progressively, and supposedly some of patches will be accepted eventually.

Regards,
Yong

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] starlingx-staging projects and OpenStack projects future plan

HI,

I there any plan to merge "stx-neutron" and "openstack/neutron". I would like to know the future plan about the projects under https://github.com/starlingx-staging

A per my understanding, StarlingX will work only with the OpenStack projects under the https://github.com/starlingx-staging , is it right ?

Where can I find the additional commits made in "stx-neutron" for edge use-case., any document ?

Thanks,
