Yes, for SX it's possible so that admins can reconfigure the system. Platform services are kept running. Though I don't know what is the policy re applications (if they should be kept running at unlock... please check)

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] On Simplex, can the active controller be locked?

Hello,

In a Simplex configuration, is it possible now to Lock/Unlock the active controller-0 (the only controller)?
During our sanity we figured out that controller-0 could be locked.

For Duplex and Standard configuration we must swact the active controller first, then perform a lock of such controller.

Regards.
