There is also a “console” parameter you can use in host-add or host-update that allows you to set the console parameter. Leaving this blank, or just “console=” on the CLI, will remove the console parameter from the boot cmdline. You could also explicitly set the console like “console=tty0”, “console=tty1”, “console=ttyS0,115200”, etc

Ok, the graphical install_output needs also to remove all console parameter, if they empty the graphical parameter will work.

Great, thx! The graphical install bug is not my prio problem, just a report agains the STX team. The network issue can also fixed by my own (I should thinking befor posting ;)), my VLAN based setup hadnt any segmentation ranges. After study the STX network FAQ, I could fix this. Btw, the STX horizon backend do not show any network segmentation ranges in GUI and also it isnt possible to config the segmentation via horizon GUI.

Thx, volker.

So, my first report after first try to install STX 2.0:

1. by add a new host i have add the parameter "install_output=graphical", but the complete install will run behind a black screen like text mode :(
> Is your installation virtual type? If so, you can redirect the startup message to virsh console, I forget how to, you can ask from google.

2. after complete the install (duplex+dedicated storage (3 replication)) i can not add a new network, horizon did not do the job, just say "can not create"... how do i get more info/reports/logs ?
> Before use Horizon, you can try commands using "system" and "openstack",
    for example,
    $ source /etc/platform/openrc
    $ system application-list

   and use openstack,

Besides, you can check helm, kubernetes use their commands.
As for log, it depends your command, for example, the "system" command log is in /var/log/sysinv.log.

greez & thx,
volker
