Hi Saul

What's your error or missing? I could check for you.

To verify, there are several cases and step. You should ready commit message in https://review.opendev.org/#/c/681821/

Case1, build all source code, this is same as currently building
    1, sync code
    $ repo init -u https://opendev.org/starlingx/manifest.git -m default.xml

    2, download rpm for flock layer
    $ ./download_mirror.sh -n -g -c yum.conf.sample -S

    3, copy the downloaded to mirror folder, such as /import/mirrors/starlingx

    4, create repo named "StxCentos7Distro" for building
    $ ./generate-cgcs-centos-repo.sh /import/mirrors/starlingx
    $ ./populate_downloads.sh /import/mirrors/starlingx

Deploy with build iso and helm-chart

Case2, build layer by layer
Compile layer
    1, sync code for compile layer
    $ repo init -u https://opendev.org/starlingx/manifest.git -m compile.xml

    2, download rpm for flock layer
    $ ./download_mirror.sh -n -g -l compile -c yum.conf.sample -S

    3, copy the downloaded to mirror folder, such as /import/mirrors/starlingx

    4, create repo named "StxCentos7Distro" for building
    $ ./generate-cgcs-centos-repo.sh --layer=compile /import/mirrors/starlingx
    $ ./populate_downloads.sh /import/mirrors/starlingx

    5, rpm package
    $ build-pkgs

    6, create file for distro and compile layer build
    $ cd $MY_WORKSPACE
    $ cat std/image.inc rt/image.inc  >> centos_compile_iso_image.inc
    $ ls std/rpmbuild/RPMS/ rt/rpmbuild/RPMS/ -l | awk '/tis\..*\.rpm/ {print $9}'  > tis_pkg.lst

Distro layer
Before distro and flock layer building, must create a repo locally, as cenga is not update now.
Edit stx-tools/centos-mirror-tools/config/centos/distro/required_build_tis_pkg.cfg
Uncomment this line, and update with your compile layer build output folder
#compile,file:///localdisk/loadbuild/martin/starlingx/tis_pkg.lst

    1, sync code for compile layer
    $ repo init -u https://opendev.org/starlingx/manifest.git -m distro.xml

    2, download rpm for flock layer
    $ ./download_mirror.sh -n -g -l distro -c yum.conf.sample -S

    3, copy the downloaded to mirror folder, such as /import/mirrors/starlingx

    4, create repo named "StxCentos7Distro" for building
    $ ./generate-cgcs-centos-repo.sh --layer=compile /import/mirrors/starlingx
    $ ./populate_downloads.sh /import/mirrors/starlingx

    5, rpm package
    $ build-pkgs

    6, create file for distro layer build
    $ cd $MY_WORKSPACE
    $ cat std/image.inc rt/image.inc  >> centos_distro_iso_image.inc
    $ ls std/rpmbuild/RPMS/ rt/rpmbuild/RPMS/ -l | awk '/tis\..*\.rpm/ {print $9}'  > tis_pkg.lst

Flock layer
Edit stx-tools/centos-mirror-tools/config/centos/flock/required_build_tis_pkg.cfg
Uncomment these two line, and update with your distro layer build output folder
#compile,file:///localdisk/loadbuild/martin/starlingx/tis_pkg.lst
#distro,file:///localdisk/loadbuild/martin/distro/tis_pkg.lst

    1, sync code for flock layer
    $ repo init -u https://opendev.org/starlingx/manifest.git -m flock.xml

    2, download rpm for flock layer
    $ ./download_mirror.sh -n -g -l flock -c yum.conf.sample -S

    3, copy the downloaded to mirror folder, such as /import/mirrors/starlingx

    4, create repo named "StxCentos7Distro" for building
    $ ./generate-cgcs-centos-repo.sh --layer=flock /import/mirrors/starlingx
    $ ./populate_downloads.sh /import/mirrors/starlingx

    5, rpm package and iso building
    $ build-pks && build-iso && build-helm-charts.sh

Deploy with build iso and helm-chart

Two case must build and deploy succeed.

Martin,

I am still wondering how your testing this, if you have a completely updated manifest that points to all the updated gerrit reviews?

As I mentioned in some reviews earlier I was having issues with building due to missing files.
