Subject: Upgrade MLNX-OFED to 5.2-2.2.0.0 in StarlingX-4.0 to latest

Hi,

I have installed distributed StarlingX 4.0.
We are facing one issue wrt MLNX-OFED version.
In the ConnectX-4 EN Nic that we are using in our platform, we see some issue related to spoof check parameter.
In Kubernetes environment, after pod restart, if pod attaches to the same VF that it was using previously, spoof check becomes ON automatically and the traffic stops going out of that VF.
To solve that issue, our hardware vendor has suggested to the upgrade of MLNX-OFED(5.2-2.2.0.0) and Firmware upragde(MFT 4.16.1).

In starlingX environment, I tried doing
# ./install.sh --oem
-E- There are missing packages that are required for installation of MFT.
-I- You can install missing packages using: yum install gcc rpm-build kernel-devel-4.18.0-147.3.1.rt24.96.el8_1.tis.8.x86_64

I could install gcc and kernel-devel-4.18.0-147.3.1.rt24.96.el8_1.tis.8.x86_64, but rpm-build installation is not going through because of some dependency.

How do we go about upgrading these packages ?

Regards,
Sriram
