- Build
- Nothing to report. Builds are setup to run on-demand, so need to request a build from Scott/Davlet if there are any new merges in the r/stx.7.0 branch.
- One build was issued on Aug 18 to address an issue w/ helm chart generation. There were no functional changes.

- Sanity Update
- Sanity on r/stx.7.0
- r/stx.7.0 sanity was successful on Aug 9: https://lists.starlingx.io/pipermail/starlingx-discuss/2022-August/013246.html
- Note email title is incorrect; it mentions "Master" instead of "stx.7.0"
- There has been no functional changes since then, but one build was issued to correct helm charts.
- Sanity on r/stx.7.0 w/ stx-openstack
- Team still working thru internal env issues. Forecast: Aug 31
- A fix will be needed for https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/1970645
- Another sanity execution will be needed once the above LP is addressed.
- Note: Sanity for r/stx.7.0 is focused on CentOS builds. There are no plans to do Debian sanity for r/stx.7.0. A Debian rc build is available though for experimental purposes.
- Bugs
- https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bugs?field.tag=stx.7.0
- One LP re-opened for openstack apply timeout. https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/1970645
- Issue was reproduced when running experimental sanity. Fixes are in progress. Forecast: Aug 26
- Note: cherry-pick and rebuild of r/stx.7.0 will be required.
- Action: Thales to send a request for the build and sanity once the fix is available in the r/stx.7.0 branch.
- Docs
- Release Notes Review: https://review.opendev.org/c/starlingx/docs/+/850424

- stx.7.0 Milestones
- Sanity/Final Regression Complete: Aug 17 >> Re-forecast: Aug 31
- Not Achieved. Sanity w/ openstack is still outstanding and final regression is starting today.
- Release: Aug 24 >> Re-forecast: Sep 7
- Next Steps towards releasing stx.7.0
- Complete successful sanity on r/stx.7.0 w/ stx-openstack
- If not green, track blocking LPs that need to be resolved.
- Fixes need to go in the stx main branch first and then cherrypicked to the r/stx.7.0 branch
- Repeat until green sanity
- Tag branch w/ final green RC build. Copy RC build to the release directory. Stop daily scheduled builds.
