Hi Scott, On the technical side we had one starlingx-core group setup for the community in Gerrit. This group was assigned to every initial stx-* repo which gave everyone on that group +2 rights in all those repositories. As we are moving forward and formalizing the sub-project teams and overall project governance we got to the steps of defining the core reviewer groups for each sub-project and the repositories they manage which is the change you are experiencing now. It is not about demoting anybody but rather identifying those individuals for each sub-project and relevant repositories who have the duties of looking after the mission and scope of the sub-project as well as architecture and code quality by performing code reviews and being able to approve patches in Gerrit. I believe StarlingX is already big and complex enough that we don’t expect anyone to be on top of what is happening in every single sub-project and repo on code-level but rather focus on one or a few sub-projects. In case you feel that you are actively participating in some projects and should retain your core reviewer rights please reach out the the Technical Lead of the sub-project to discuss and fix this. Please let me know if you have further questions. Thanks and Best Regards, Ildikó

Actually I had pretty broad +2/+1 power to most repos, at least initially, to facilitate repo creation and restructuring. Roughly on par with Dean. I wasn't that I was a core reviewer in the normal sense. Just a backup to Dean that can do some of the structural work.
If I'm being demoted, fine, as long as that was the intent.

Hi Scott,
I got the following initial list for stx-upstream:
stx-upstream - Upstream packages Bob Church (Robert.Church@windriver.com) Al Bailey (Al.Bailey@windriver.com) Chris Friesen (Chris.Friesen@windriver.com)
And so far it got confirmed here: http://lists.starlingx.io/pipermail/starlingx-discuss/2018-November/001742.h...
I’m working with the TLs to double check the lists, however I don’t seem to be able to figure out all the TLs for all the repos at this point, will start a separate thread about that.
Thanks, Ildikó

Strange, I used to have +2 powers over stx-upstream a few days ago. Now it seems to be gone.
Please restore.

I agree with this, I also think I should be added to stx-root, stx-tools, stx- manifest and stx-tis-repo as part of the build.
Thanks
Sau!
For stx-integ, this repo was used for non-openstack distro sub-project a lot. I am hoping that both Saul and Brent can be the core reviewers for it. stx-integ - Integration and packaging Scott Little (scott.little@windriver.com) Bob Church (Robert.Church@windriver.com) Don Penney (Don.Penney@windriver.com ) Wold, Saul <saul.wold@intel.com> Rowsell, Brent <Brent.Rowsell@windriver.com>
