[…] Does this help? Hello Ildiko, Thanks for your response. This did not help. Mainly, I am unable to clone using ssh. Below command just stalls. git clone "ssh://vburru@review.opendev.org:29418/starlingx/specs" && scp -p -P 29418 vburru@review.opendev.org:hooks/commit-msg "specs/.git/hooks/"
Below is the verbose log when I try just ssh: vburru@sburla-PowerEdge-T630:/disk2/vsr/upstream/stx/tmp$ ssh -p 29418 vburru@review.opendev.org -vv OpenSSH_7.6p1 Ubuntu-4ubuntu0.6, OpenSSL 1.0.2n 7 Dec 2017 debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config debug1: /etc/ssh/ssh_config line 19: Applying options for * debug2: resolving "review.opendev.org" port 29418 debug2: ssh_connect_direct: needpriv 0 debug1: Connecting to review.opendev.org [199.204.45.33] port 29418. debug1: Connection established. debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_rsa type 0 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_rsa-cert type -1 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_dsa type -1 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_dsa-cert type -1 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_ecdsa type -1 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_ecdsa-cert type -1 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_ed25519 type -1 debug1: key_load_public: No such file or directory debug1: identity file /home/vburru/.ssh/id_ed25519-cert type -1 debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_7.6p1 Ubuntu-4ubuntu0.6 <<<<----- it stalls here. This could be due to my office VPN preventing it. I will check with my IT on this.
I just tried and I could clone the specs repo through ssh. Since your command stalled and didn’t give an error message I can’t tell what might be the issue on your end. Office firewall and VPN settings can indeed cause problems like the above. I hope IT can help you figure it out. If they find everything alright then we can keep looking into what the actual error message is and what might be causing it. In the meantime someone here might ran into the same or similar issue before and has some more ideas. Best Regards, Ildikó
