Hi all;
Below are the minutes and notes from the March 14th StarlingX TSC meeting.
TSC election plan:
Ian, Dean, Ana and Miguel will be up for election - + the open position.
Consensus is better post PTG/Summit is the recommendation - check if there is an issue with the release?
Current proposal week of June 10th - will confirm next week.
Curtis - Packet.com PoC/Project
Just recieved initial MOU from Packet.com
Under review by Curtis
Ildiko will have someone from Foundation, once TSC has reviewed
Opportunities/ideas to move forward with Packet
1)CI/CD
use 1 as a learning opportunity
Deployment and HW learnings will happen
2)Performance testing
Need to baseline which hw is being leveraged and then test consistently. Need to document choices.
3) short term edge project for CBRS
shows a great use case
Brian - from packet - initial sites are coming on line.
Curtis/Shuquan - Summit Workshop
John @packet.com provided us access to an initial project in packet, have created a couple of test nodes, discussing how to proceed with developing workshop.
Initial deployment on baremetal underway
testing out initial virtual machines
Need to determine which release to use for this Workshop
Dean - Openstack infra team - transitioning to OpenDev group
Means to us that our host names for the Git Repos - an opportunity to rename git repos
Plan is to put us in an StarlingX top level projects

Like to have final disucssion and TSC review at 3/21 TSC meeting
Tech leads - please review and provide input
Consistent approach to naming across repos. (choose meaningless or functional not a mix)
Saul - asks do we want an experimental repo ?
risk is people will assume they are real or supported?
could put experimental items in git hub.
see email – from Saul
PTG - when to do planning for next release plans
