Thanks Bart.
I would have the 4th VM as well in the same setup, but then exactly setting it up as a router - which connects the subclouds to the DCM - those instructions or network diagram if present it will become easier.

Thanks,
Prashant

Prashant,

It is possible to set up a Distributed Cloud system in VMs, but we do not have instructions for that. The System Controller needs to be connected to the Subclouds over an L3 network, so you need to create another VM to act as the router between the System Controller and the subclouds.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] DC for 2 AIO-SX - in VMs

[Please note this e-mail is from an EXTERNAL e-mail address]

Hi,

I could successfully install two AIO-SX in two VMs. But I also wanted to try the Distributed Cloud management in a 3rd VM - which can manage these two clusters. But the installation of Distributed cloud is provided only on Bare Metal. Can that be installed and tried on a VM?

Thanks,

Prashant
