I think you are using version later than 3.0 .
The answer should be no, the compute nodes don’t have storage personality , so ceph osds are not enabled in compute nodes.

Hi all.
Just a quick question.
For testing purpose, we deployed a *Distributed Cloud 3.0* with 2 controller. Than we deployed the sub-cloud with the option *Bare metal Standard with Controller Storage Installation*
Now in the future we will deploy *Bare metal Standard with Dedicated Storage Installation*
and I wonder if we can actually use the storage on the compute nodes rather than having dedicate storage.
Would it be possible?
