Okay this guide appears completely out dated.....
starting here https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/StarlingX/Installation_Guide_Virtual_Environment

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT DO THIS ON FEDORA .... IT BREAKS LIBVIRT ENVIRONMENTS

Install the required packages:

$ bash install_packages.sh

NO NO NO..... We could actually remedy the scripts if $HOST Fed, Cento/RedHat then elif Debi, Ubuntu

anyway.....
Deployment Options
Standard Controller
StarlingX Cloud with Dedicated Storage Virtual Environment
StarlingX Cloud with Controller Storage Virtual Environment
All-in-one
StarlingX Cloud Duplex Virtual Environment
StarlingX Cloud Simplex Virtual Environment

I chose

https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/StarlingX/Installation_Guide_Virtual_Environment/Duplex

Ive gotten as far as launching ./setup_allinone -i bootimage.iso

As stated

When i arrive at

Configuring Controller-0

The guide is pretty straight forward it would seem however, what i see if a bunch of questions being asked that im somewhat unclear how they should be answered,

yes .. run
sudo config_controller
date/time ... ok
system mode ok

it then asks me a series of other questions re: vlan, interface... etc etc etc

it does not go right to

Applying configuration (this will take several minutes):

01/08: Creating bootstrap configuration ... DONE
02/08: Applying bootstrap manifest ... DONE
03/08: Persisting local configuration ... DONE
04/08: Populating initial system inventory ... DONE
05:08: Creating system configuration ... DONE
06:08: Applying controller manifest ... DONE
07:08: Finalize controller configuration ... DONE
08:08: Waiting for service activation ... DONE

Configuration was applied

so a bit more confusing

later on after hitting enter at most of the prompts anyway i did get passed to conffiguration was applied

moving forward

at system host-disk-list controller-0

it lists 2 disks, where the guide shows 3.... ok.... this isnt going to fly....

and the rest of the directions are based on 3 drives..... but setup_allinone only has 2 configured.....

WOW... what to do now....
