Hi

   1) Have you check if openstack application is applied successfully via “system application-list" Command ?

Yes, I did.

   2) are you following [1] to configure helm endpoint domain?

I think this is where I messed the configuration. Assuming I can use /et/hosts file, I set a .local domain (I don't use local dns).
Is it possible to revert the following setting?
system service-parameter-add openstack helm endpoint_domain=<domain_name>

Please be noticed:

“This command also changes the containerized OpenStack Horizon to listen on horizon.my-starlingx-domain.my-company.com:80 instead of the initial <oamfloatingip>:31000.”

“You must configure { *.my-starlingx-domain.my-company.com: > oamfloatingipaddress } in the external DNS server that owns my-company.com.”

Thanks Sun.

Is it possible to retrieve helm endpoint?

I was trying to access openstack GUI via <oam‐floating‐ip>:31000. but it seems the dashboard is not accessible.

I just need to verify if the helm endpoint_domain is already set.

I also noticed that port 31000 is not open (used nmap against the flooring IP).

Hi:

You are using host service, please refer [1] to use another environment to get openstack endpoint.

Please do NOT use ‘source /etc/platform/openrc’ which will be using starlingx session  ,not openstack application session.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Internal endpoint not found

Hi,

After installing Stx AIO Simplex, I noticed that system complain for endpoints.

Should I run any scripts or activate any service after completion of Openstack installation with STX?

Am I missing anything here?

[sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ openstack flavor list
internal endpoint for compute service in RegionOne region not found
[sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ openstack image list
internal endpoint for image service in RegionOne region not found

[sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ openstack compute service list
internal endpoint for compute service in RegionOne region not found

following endpoints are available:
