hey Ildiko, I took a quick look thru ... generally there is not a lot that is 'wrong' ... but here's a few suggested areas that we could update. * PROJECT OVERVIEW sections (... on scope / applicability ) - i.e. slides 2-7 - as discussed in community meeting recently, the focus is probably a little too much on the edge - we could update this to make it more clear that StarlingX is applicable to a wider scope - I might be able to get Paul Miller or somebody else in his team to provide slides here * STARLINGX TECHNOLOGY section - again ... talks about 'edge' stuff more than it needs to - although generally there is not really a lot WRONG or OUTDATED here ... as it is a pretty high-level description - Only specific comments * Add support for 'kubevirt' * Actually we should add a full list of our supported System Applications ... a lot of open-source projects integrated into solution and easily available for use by guest workloads * Minor updates to 'Deployment Models' is needed * Need to update Storage slides to indicate that we use ROOK now * Should do some minor OpenStack slides based on work we've done in recent releases - e.g. openstack version tracking, upgrade improvements, scalability improvements, vswitch changes, rook support, UEFI boot of VMs, Netapp support, OIDC Authentication, etc. * minor updates to DC slides NOTE I can start working on these updates ... BUT WHO HAS THE SOURCE PPTX file ? Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Hi StarlingX Community, I'm reaching out to you about the StarlingX project's overview slide deck: https://www.starlingx.io/collateral/StarlingX_Onboarding_Deck_for_Web.pdf I was recently asked for materials, preferably slides, that can be helpful as an overview on the StarlingX platform in terms of use cases, capabilities, etc. The project's overview slide deck came to my mind to point people at, but I'm not sure how up to date it is. I need help from the community to understand if the information in the slide deck is still accurate, or, in what ways it needs to be updated to introduce StarlingX in its current state. Can you please help me with letting me know what needs to be removed or updated and what still seems to be good information to keep in the slides? Thanks and Best Regards, Ildikó ——— Ildikó Váncsa Director of Community OpenInfra Foundation
