I fat fingered the release number in my note below
L.
I’d like to know if those tests pass on the 2018.10 release – the one that has the StarlingX NUMA live migration patches. And I’d like to know what tests fail and how when we run the same tests today against
the Stein feature branch that does not have those patches. I’d like to also know that if/when the current upstream Nova work completes, do we pass the tests when we run a version of StarlingX that includes those changes.

Yes, we have tests that can verify live migration + NUMA.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] upstream Nova NUMA live migration work
It looks like there is work moving forward in the Nova community on this topic. There are active and recent code submissions in review here: [0].
Brent, Chris – I have some questions for you. Are you aware of these reviews? Are you planning to review the code? More importantly, does this code meet StarlingX’s needs – is it heading in the right direction for us? If not, how and
where might we want to influence where the work is going?
I have one other ask, for the Test team. Are there existing test cases that we can run to test live migration, to make sure that it 1) works in stx.2019.10 and fails in the current builds?
Thanks!
