Hi Shuicheng, thanks fpr your help. We are using an Artesyn Maxcore box and need the VF drivers for booting our controller-1. For my understanding: After the the controller-1 has booted from PXE and is getting configured via controller-0, are the VF drivers then loaded? Thanks Marcel

Hi Marcel, Yes, ixgbevf driver is not included in PXE image. Do we need virtual function support during PXE boot stage? If so, we could add VF drivers to PXE image. To add the driver to pxe image, we need modify update-pxe-network-installer script in cgcs-root/build-tools. And follow the build instruction in below Wiki to generate the new pxe image. https://docs.starlingx.io/developer_guide/latest/index.html
Best Regards Shuicheng

Hi,
I just installed the image from 2019-03-25 and trying to install and configure the controller-1.
It seems like that the PXEimage does not include the Intel driver ixgbevf.
Is this intended and what is the recommended procedure to get this module into the pxe image?
Thanks
Marcel
