Hi Volker:

Would you like running command ‘collect’ in system to collect all necessary logs ?

And then create new bug  https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx and attached log to bug.

Thanks.
BR
Austin Sun.

Volker,

You still have 1.0 running (2+2+3) and you still have your data, right? You just want to backup your user data & restore it in your new 2.0 deployment? I am hoping that you didn’t lost your data.

Thx. - cindy

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] zero byte image

hi,

i'm big in trouble... i'm with you from the first hour and run an staringX 2018.10 in production mode (i know, i know, no comment please ;)) so, update to the new starlingX 2.0 version will need to reinstall the complete stack, but i need to backup some VMs first.

based on this dokumentation https://docs.openstack.org/nova/rocky/admin/migrate-instance-with-snapshot.html i got always an zero byte image, at the internet i got some posting that indicate the same problem, but for now, i cant fix it :(

i have an full starlinX install with dedicated storage (2x controller, 2x compute, 3x storage). maybe someone can help me?

greez & thx, volker...
