Thanks for the reply. To overcome the issue, I attached the external harddisk to the system. sdb 8:16 0 1.8T 0 disk /data But still I am facing same issue because command host-disk-list is still not able to see the sdb device and at the same time I am able to use the disk as I mounted it and formatted as ext4. The additional disk like sdb is requested for R3.0 release for storage backend ceph .
Please check HW Requirements [1].

Hi All,
I am trying to install StarlingX on my machine. I opted for Bare metal All-in-one Simplex Installation R3.0 k8s version.
I am having an issue in assigning host storage list for controller node.
[sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ system host-disk-list controller-0
+--------------------------------------+-----------+---------+---------+-------+------------+-----+---------+--------------------------------------------+
| uuid | device_no | device_ | device_ | size_ | available_ | rpm | serial_ | device_path |
| | de | num | type | gib | gib | | id | |
+--------------------------------------+-----------+---------+---------+-------+------------+-----+---------+--------------------------------------------+
| d00e1340-4b9b-48f5-b5fe-977aeae8a46e | /dev/sda | 2048 | SSD | 232. | 23.863 | N/A | S21NNXB | /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:00:1f.2-ata-1.0 |
| | | | | 885 | | | GA49712 | |
| | | | | | | | H | |
| | | | | | | | | |
+--------------------------------------+-----------+---------+---------+-------+------------+-----+---------+--------------------------------------------+
After that, I executed:
[sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ system host-disk-list controller-0 | awk '/\/dev\/sdb/{print $2}' | xargs -i system host-stor-add controller-0 {}
But as I highlighted the above difference, I am looking for sdb whereas I don’t have that in my system configuration. Because of that allpcation of storage for controller is failing and I am not able to unlock controller.
[sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ system host-unlock controller-0
Cannot unlock node until at least 1 osd stor is configured for tier 'storage'
Please guide me, what to do to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.
