Dear Sir: I try to create an internal network by: $ openstack network create --internal int-net-1 When you show the network in detail, it is show "router:external=Internal". But still hook up to the provider's network. It will auto assign the provider network & assign a VLAN. $ openstack network show int-net-1 +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Field | Value | +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | admin_state_up | UP | | availability_zone_hints | | | availability_zones | nova | | created_at | 2020-11-24T09:41:07Z | | description | | | dns_domain | None | | id | d45127af-c4a4-4019-a52f-a2519cae3cfd | | ipv4_address_scope | None | | ipv6_address_scope | None | | is_default | None | | is_vlan_transparent | False | | location | cloud='', project.domain_id=, project.domain_name='Default', project.id='ce28a5c66b154445bd44b12ef5cece17', project.name='admin', region_name='RegionOne', zone= | | mtu | 1500 | | name | int-net-1 | | port_security_enabled | True | | project_id | ce28a5c66b154445bd44b12ef5cece17 | | provider:network_type | vlan | | provider:physical_network | physnet0 | | provider:segmentation_id | 402 | | qos_policy_id | None | | revision_number | 2 | | router:external | Internal | | segments | None | | shared | False | | status | ACTIVE | | subnets | 1e4f326f-2fc3-4803-8cbe-fe3e99100e02 | | tags | | | updated_at | 2020-11-24T09:44:53Z | +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Any suggestion, please.
