Hi Ricardo:

I don’t think StarlingX change some openstack setting recently.

is it enabling DPDK in system ?   could you check your duplex controller  free memory ?

Thanks.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Is there any change to get SSH / Ping in VMs ?

Hello Team,

Currently I’m trying to launch a Cirros VM to perform the following operations (in a duplex config):

What I’m seeing is the following:

openstack security group create security1

openstack security group rule create --ingress --protocol icmp --remote-ip 0.0.0.0/0 security1

openstack security group rule create --ingress --protocol tcp --remote-ip 0.0.0.0/0 security1

openstack security group rule create --ingress --protocol udp --remote-ip 0.0.0.0/0 security1

--property hw:mem_page_size=large

controller-0:~# openstack server list

controller-0:~# openstack server list, and there is no IP inside of the VM, please see below:

With the latest changes is there anything that I’m missing to get this working ? even the “ip netns” command isn’t giving me any value.

Thanks in advance
