Thank-you Austin for confirming. Davlet Panech will start this work on Thursday and let us all know when we need to freeze stx-integ and also when the new stx-kernel repo is created and ready for all to use.

Hi Frank:

Please let us know the change were merged , we will prepare kernel upgrade patch rebase.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Creating stx-kernel repo
Folks:
At the community Build meeting last week we agreed to carve out the kernel from stx-integ and put it into its own repo as part of the build layering project [1]. This will help reduce build times further by ensuring the kernel is built only when there is a specific commit in the kernel repo. I’m sending this email to let the community know that this work is starting soon. The Build team will let you know once a cutover date is determined.
