Fixed the scraper again.  Both this and the prior issue centered on subtle changes to whitespace usage.

I propose the following convention ...

1)  e-mail subject starts with on of ...

    "[Starlingx-discuss] Sanity Master Test MONOLITHIC"

   "[Starlingx-discuss] Sanity Master Test LAYERED"

... where whitespace consists of a single space.

The remainder of the subject line should not contain and special regex or glob characters other than '[' and ']'

2) The first line of text in the body should include a link the build output directory enclosed in parenthesis '()', or angle brackets '<' '>', or angle brackets within parenthesis. Spaces are permitted within the enclosing parenthesis. Test is permited outside the innermost enclosing parenthesis or anglebracket pair.

e.g.

   blah blah ( http://mirror.starlingx.cengn.ca/mirror/starlingx/master/centos/20200323T230003Z/outputs/iso/ ) blah blah

or

   blah blah (blah<http://mirror.starlingx.cengn.ca/mirror/starlingx/master/centos/20200323T230003Z/outputs/iso/>) blah blah.

This must be the first link in the body of the email.

3) The declaration of sanity status.

The body shall contain a line of text starting with 'Status: ' (a single space included) followed by one of 'RED' 'YELLOW' or 'GREEN', in caps and without quotes.  The line should contain no other text.

e.g.

Status: RED

Status: YELLOW

Status: GREEN

Mihail,

I haven’t seen a response here and the process is still broken. Your last email is already one week old. I am also adding Nicolae here in response to the last GREEN release. I see the problem with the latest release.

What is the ETA for a solution. I don’t think that it would be that difficult to fix. Can you please drive this and respond by eo week with a solution?

Thanks & Best,

Bjoern

Hello Scott,

I apologize for adding you directly to this thread, but an Intel colleague (Bjoern Bruechner) asked me about an issue with the “latest_green_build” folder on CENGN server which now has the build from March 6th. He asked a question on the mailing list, but I did not see an answer yet. Can you please help with this issue? Something must have gotten broken.

Hi Mihail,

It would be good to understand why this has not been happening after March.6th, maybe some automated mechanism is broken

Regards,

Marco

Hello,

I have already had a discussion with Bjoern. We are not in charge of the CENGN builds or the build machine. I advised Bjoern to ask the community, this is the best way to get information (and the proper way too). We have to wait until someone has information and comes forward with it.

Hey Bjoern,

The validation is team is new and probably nobody told them this is a task they had to perform. Great that you tell us this is a gap.

@Mihail: can you please follow up with Nic & Ada on this point to understand where the gap is?

Regards,

Marco

Hi,

Are we no longer labeling making the latest GREEN build available here as in the past? The lasted “GREEN” build in that folder is from March 6th. All validated builds http://mirror.starlingx.cengn.ca/mirror/starlingx/master/centos/202003xxxx/outputs/ do not include a file called “GREEN“ which might have been used as a validation stamp and triggered the copy in the past. Can we get this flag back so we know the validation status?

We are using the file named “GREEN” as a trigger for downloading your validated ISO image to our cluster.

Thanks,

Bjoern

Standard external setup in the virtual environment failed because of an automation issue (the corresponding job on bare metal was successful).
