StarlingX can only be deployed on dedicated bare metal servers.

( StarlingX does have support for deployment on libvirt VMs or VBOX VMs, but that is strictly for development purposes )

Then it would be great if this can be clearly mentioned in the installation guide [1].
As a newbie I thought we can use Virtualized StarlingX deployment for production use.

StarlingX deployed on public clouds such as AWS or Azure is not currently supported.

But would be a nice feature for someone in the community to pick up.

Greg.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] StarlingX ISO deployment in Azure Cloud

[Please note: This e-mail is from an EXTERNAL e-mail address]

Hello Comunity,

we were wondering if anyone of you has experience in how to deploy StralingX in Azure Cloud.  Have there been any concerned or disadvantaged? How is the general procedure to get the ISO deployed?

Kind regrads,

Thorsten
