Yes ... - if a controller were to go down permanently, you would first delete the old failed controller host and add a new one by pxebooting from the active one. No procedure changes from the standard install. Greg. One followup question - if a controller were to go down permanently, would it be possible to add a new one by pxebooting from the active one? If so, are there any procedure changes from the standard install? If either controller goes out of service (temporary or permanent), would it still be possible to add new hosts to the system (of any workload)? [Greg] Yes you can still add new worker/compute nodes if only a single controller is available. * Would it require a new controller to be brought online? 1. On an edge cloud, since an OAM ip range is specified, is it possible to have more than 2 controllers for extra redundancy? For example, having 3 controllers ready, and if one were to go down permanently, all control would be handed over to the other two? [Greg] Nope. Currently the max number of controllers is 2. There have been some discussions about supporting a more traditional 3x node controller cluster. But that is not currently being worked on. Greg. Thanks, Alex
