[Starlingx-discuss] Update rpms_from_3rd_parties.lst versions
Hi All, Does anyone know if there's a reason to use exactly the influxdb version 0.9.5.1? The package influxdb-0.9.5.1-1.x86_64.rpm was last modified on the 8th December of 2105, this package is currently in the http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/stx-tools/tree/centos-mirror-tools/r... list file that downloads the rpm packages using wget. In order to build this package from the tagged version it requires multiple patches to update the source code pointing to newer urls, clone , and checkout multiple repositories to the time the package was built; This effort can be done, but I was wondering if wouldn't be better to ask if we can use the latest version instead, because maybe in the end, we might be updating the package to the latest version. I'm also wondering if there's an specific reason to use the specific versions from all the packages from the list: libvirt-python-3.5.0-1 *Reason: must match libvirt version (input from the starlingX weekly meeting) novnc-0.6.2-1 python2-httpbin-0.5.0-6 python2-pytest-httpbin-0.2.3-6 python2-pytest-mock-1.6.0-2 python2-storops-0.4.7-2. python-gunicorn-19.7.1-1 kubernetes-1.10.0-1 influxdb-0.9.5.1-1 Regards, Jesus Ornelas Aguayo (chuy)
