[Starlingx-discuss] Starlingx HW compatibility list
Hi All As new starter, I would like to know if any HW model have been tested by community user. If community have a form can be provided to everyone to give feedback which HW model and components(cpu, memory, raid, chipset, nic, etc...) are supported by pre-build iso. This could be very helpful for newbie, and we can rich the HW compatibility list from everyone contribution. Thanks https://docs.starlingx.io/installation_guide/latest/index.html
Greetings and welcome to the community! You can find a high level description of the hardware needed in the deployment guide documentation, for example here [0]. We are in the process of updating our documents, but the basic hardware requirements are not expected to change. The guide just talks about minimum hardware. Any reasonable server will do for basic operation. If you are looking to use advanced processor features to optimize a particular workload, you’ll need to use hardware that supports those features. brucej [0] https://docs.starlingx.io/deployment_guides/current/simplex.html From: Jacky Chen [mailto:jacky@linux.com] Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2019 6:58 PM To: starlingx-discuss@lists.starlingx.io Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Starlingx HW compatibility list Hi All As new starter, I would like to know if any HW model have been tested by community user.
