[Starlingx-discuss] Any recommendations which image version for duplex installation?
Hi, which version do you recommend at the moment for a duplex installation? With the one from 20190318 I have some problems, because probably the kubernetes part of config_controller tries to connect to a google cloud instance. Since I have no access to this server it fails. Thanks Marcel

Someone on this list will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd be using the latest image available. There is a tremendous amount of working being done as the project moves towards a release, but I would expect that the latest image available is usually the best for testing with. Thanks, Curtis
Thanks
Marcel

The problem with the greatest latest version is the external dependency of kubernetes. I am not getting a connection out to google drive from my lab. Since I don't want to use kubernetes/docker at the moment is it ok to throw them out of the worker and controller manifest?

When you say google drive, do you mean downloading docker images from remote repositories? Or is it trying to connect to some other service from google? Does your lab have some security restrictions to accessing external resources? Thanks, Curtis

Image: centos of 2019-03-05 In the puppet log I see the following error: [ERROR ImagePull]: failed to pull image k8s.gcr.io/kube-apiserver:v1.12.3: output: Error response from daemon: Get https://k8s.gcr.io/v2/: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers) Since I don't have internet access at this point in time, how can I fix this? Thanks Marcel
