Re: [Starlingx-discuss] Local Docker Registry Host Name
Sorry, I forgot the port number. The corrected format is the following. docker tag SOURCE_IMAGE[:TAG] registry.local:9001/TARGET_IMAGE[:TAG] docker push registry.local:9001/TARGET_IMAGE[:TAG] From: "Peters, Matt" <Matt.Peters@windriver.com> Date: Friday, May 31, 2019 at 6:08 PM To: "starlingx-discuss@lists.starlingx.io" <starlingx-discuss@lists.starlingx.io> Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Local Docker Registry Host Name Hello Folks, With the merge of the following commit [1], the local docker registry that runs on the active controller must now be accessed using the registry.local host name rather than the IP address that was previously used. This was required to support both IPv4 and IPV6 addressing for the docker registry. System application uploads and applies have been updated to align with this change, so it should be transparent unless you are pushing your own custom images for testing purposes. docker tag SOURCE_IMAGE[:TAG] registry.local/TARGET_IMAGE[:TAG] docker push registry.local/TARGET_IMAGE[:TAG] [1] https://review.opendev.org/#/c/661849/
