Remote Access Setup Complete & Request for Kick-off Meeting
Hi Greg and Ildikó, Thank you both for your thoughtful patience and continued support. I'm happy to share that the hardware connectivity setup is now complete and available for remote access. The setup includes the following: 1. Remote access to a laptop via RustDesk, which can then be used to connect to any of the four server nodes using their respective IPMI IP addresses. 2. The server node connectivity documentation has been shared with Greg via the Able Community shared drive. 3. A document with responses to Greg’s earlier questions has also been shared in the same location. 4. An Excel spreadsheet containing the IP addresses (for both Ethernet and IPMI ports) and access credentials for the four nodes has been shared with Greg via the shared drive. Talha, an IT volunteer from Able Community, will be assisting with StarlingX preparations, installation, and DevOps automation. We would appreciate your help in getting the DevOps setup underway. For communication, we’ll be using the StarlingX Matrix channel at https://matrix.to/#/#starlingx:opendev.org as recommended. The Element app is a good option for accessing Matrix—it works across desktop, Android, and iOS. Alternatively, Able Community continues to use Slack for internal volunteer coordination. May I kindly request a kick-off meeting to plan and align on technical requirements and the solution approach, including verifying access to the server nodes? I’ll be on-site and near the server, and switch to provide hands-on assistance if needed. Thank you again, Rizwan
