[Starlingx-discuss] stx 4.0 Simple-AIO-DX can not get the IP host on controller-1
Dear Sir: I follow the instruction to setup the StarlingX 4.0 on 2 bare metal machine with Simple AIO DX. I create one network and two cirros VM. One VM (vm0) host in controller-0, the other VM (vm1) host in controller-1. Everything looks fine on OpenStack Web UI. Each VM assigned a IP address. But only vm0 get the IP address. The vm1 do not have a IP address. Can someone help me on it? vm0: (controller-0): 2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000 link/ether fa:16:3e:e5:76:e3 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet 192.168.0.28/24 brd 192.168.0.255 scope global eth0 valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever inet6 fe80::f816:3eff:fee5:76e3/64 scope link valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever vm1: (controller-1): 2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000 link/ether fa:16:3e:15:55:de brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet6 fe80::f816:3eff:fe15:55de/64 scope link valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever [sysadmin@controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ openstack network show public-net01 +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Field | Value | +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | admin_state_up | UP | | availability_zone_hints | nova | | availability_zones | nova | | created_at | 2020-12-14T15:42:18Z | | description | | | dns_domain | None | | id | 81decfb7-ee67-466d-b644-e71d5a2b04db | | ipv4_address_scope | None | | ipv6_address_scope | None | | is_default | False | | is_vlan_transparent | False | | location | cloud='', project.domain_id=, project.domain_name='Default', project.id='6a2e43c744e24df89214ae72577d3ca6', project.name='admin', region_name='RegionOne', zone= | | mtu | 1500 | | name | public-net01 | | port_security_enabled | True | | project_id | 6a2e43c744e24df89214ae72577d3ca6 | | provider:network_type | vlan | | provider:physical_network | physnet0 | | provider:segmentation_id | 1000 | | qos_policy_id | None | | revision_number | 4 | | router:external | External | | segments | None | | shared | True | | status | ACTIVE | | subnets | d724cdfb-11c2-4509-805a-cf45a62fe569 | | tags | | | updated_at | 2020-12-14T15:57:26Z | +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Regards, C.H.
