vPTG overview blog posts - REVIEW NEEDED
Hi StarlingX Community, Thank you to all of you who got the opportunity to attend and participate in the recent virtual PTG session the project had. I typed up a brief, two-piece summary to recap the conversations, and I would like to ask your help with reviewing the article before they go live: - Part 1: https://github.com/StarlingXWeb/starlingx-website/pull/292 - Part 2: https://github.com/StarlingXWeb/starlingx-website/pull/293 The planned publish dates of the articles are April 14 and April 21, 2025. Thanks and Best Regards, Ildikó ——— Ildikó Váncsa Director of Community Open Infrastructure Foundation
Thanks for writing this up Ildiko. I read thru it ... it looks good. Only a few minor comments: - in both part1 and part2, you say "had sessions on two consecutive days" ... actually just one day - typo in part 2, "... The scalability of the platform got also grew 5x, ..." ... sounds awkward. - in part 2, Distributed Cloud, ... reword of a sentence * The idea is to extract the components of the StarlingX central/SystemController that manages and orchestrates the remote subclouds, into a containerized application, such that it is portable and could optionally run in a public cloud, rather than requiring a central private cloud for this function.
