[Starlingx-discuss] Regarding Ironic integration with networking service
Hi All, As per OpenStack Ironic documentation, it is recommended to install bare-metal ML2 mechanism driver and L2 agent (ironic-neutron-agent) for proper integration with the Networking service, but on the StarlingX setup that we have deployed with Ironic, we do not see "baremetal" set in mechanism_drivers in ml2_conf.ini. Also, there is no kubernetes pod in openstack namespace running ironic-neutron-agent. Is there any specific reason that integration of Ironic with networking service for routed networks is not supported in StarlingX Ironic deployment? Regards, Amit
Hi Amit, From openstack-helm, I see deployment_ironic_agent was disabled by default. You can enable it through user override.( system helm-override-update command) https://opendev.org/openstack/openstack-helm/src/branch/master/neutron/value... Thanks!
