[Starlingx-discuss] DRBD9 and Linstor
Have there ever been discussions about DRBD9 support and Linstor? https://www.linbit.com/linstor/ According to those articles: https://vitobotta.com/2019/08/06/kubernetes-storage-openebs-rook-longhorn-st... & https://vitobotta.com/2019/08/07/linstor-storage-with-kubernetes/ Linstor seems to be very fast and reliable when it comes to hyper-converged systems. Thank you
Interesting, thank you for sharing these links! We are in the final stages of changing the storage subsystem in StarlingX from Ceph to Rook/Ceph. We agree with the posts below that Rook has a lot of advantages. We have no plans that I know of at this time to make further changes in this space. brucej -----Original Message----- From: bnovickovs@weecodelab.com <bnovickovs@weecodelab.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 7, 2020 6:05 AM To: starlingx-discuss@lists.starlingx.io Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] DRBD9 and Linstor Have there ever been discussions about DRBD9 support and Linstor? https://www.linbit.com/linstor/ According to those articles: https://vitobotta.com/2019/08/06/kubernetes-storage-openebs-rook-longhorn-st... & https://vitobotta.com/2019/08/07/linstor-storage-with-kubernetes/ Linstor seems to be very fast and reliable when it comes to hyper-converged systems.
