[Starlingx-discuss] StarlingX 2.0 Release Upgrade Functionality
Hi Team, I have installed StarlingX 2.0 on Bare metal. It is based on Openstack Stein Release. Is there any option in StarlingX to upgrade the existing Stein Release to latest Train Release with zero down time? Please suggest the steps to do so? Thanks Bill for your response. Without taking into account ZTD, Does Stx provides stx-openstack* application which can be used on Stx 2.0 deployment to upgrade it from Stein to Train release? Hi Anirudh, We are in the planning phase for stx.4.0 and are looking for developers from the community to look at implementing openstack upgrades with minimal down time. If this is something your team is interested in taking on, I invite you to participate in the distro.openstack meeting to discuss next steps. Hi Anirudh, As I mentioned below, the first step is to engage with the distro.openstack sub-project team to discuss the next steps. I can't comment on the plan as the work still needs to be investigated and scoped out.
