Multi-OS team meeting Summary of the meeting: 5/20/19 Agenda: TSC status about multi-OS support TSC hasn't made a decision about the scope of multi-OS support yet, more details on next TSC meeting next Thursday Open Suse status: Saul and Mexico team have made progress in the refactor of current spec files for the flock services for centos to be translated to openSUSE. These are the tasks and storyboards: https://storyboard.openstack.org/#!/board/144 MultiOS specification for flock services layout The first approach is to have a directory where the community can set the translation of current centOS spec files to other distribution build systems, such as Debian and openSUSE, the specification draft for this change is here: https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/multios-dir-spec welcome for any community member feedback Wiki and documentation The team will write a multi-OS wiki where the best-known methodology discovers during the last months of research will be published. This wiki will be open for the community that would like to add build artifacts for other operating systems.
