Hello Chenjie,
This commit is no longer required and can be removed since this interface is not used.
It was once used by ceilometer when communicating with neutron and was added to handle admin password changes. However, service accounts have replaced the requirement for admin passwords, therefore this method is no longer invoked by ceilometer and can be removed from the neutron client.
Regards, Matt

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Analysis of patch c3fa9d9 for StartlingX upstreaming
Hi Matt,
I’m working on patch c3fa9d9 but I’m struggling on how to use the method update_password added by this patch. Could you please provide the use case on how to use the method update_password? And I have searched the code on Github by the following link:
https://github.com/search?q=org%3Astarlingx-staging+update_password&type=Code
I can’t find code which calls the method update_password in stx-neutronclient.
Best Regards,
Xu, Chenjie
