Hi All,
we have encountered with testing StarlingX -Simplex (SX ) on Physical
Hardware, need some advice for troubleshooting.
Image: http://mirror.starlingx.cengn.ca/ 20181216T060000Z
-config_controller --passed
-controller-0 provisioning --passed no any error
-when system reboot, nova-compute no "enable"
need comments:
-for SX, can starlingX support Single Disk (with Partition)? because
all failed hardware has 1 or 2 physical disk
-Any Plan for low profile hardware (atom,xeon-D), --container
-as tested, starlingx platform need 4core, and about 14GB Ram,....any way
tuning down for small edge hardware
-is it mandatory for NICs to support DPDK (provider network)?
-can starlingx external log connector, such as ELK, Splunk, grafana, nagios
We have prepared hardware for engineer starlingx lab environment,
Testing Hardware: https://github.com/sysware-asia/stx-sx-testing
1. system-csw-3040 x 1 unit ---failed , single Disk use partition,
Dpdk okay
2. system-hpe x 4 unit --failed, single Disk use partition, no dpdk
3. system-vpex 1 unit --failed, single Disk use partition, dpdk okay
4. system-smc x 4 unit --PASSED/All Functional works... 3 Physical Disk
... plan for test controller-storage (tested 4 unit all works)
Spec.

This StarlingX- SX is running properly
