One significant item that seems to be missing here is the migration for users on stx3 to to stx4 with rook/ceph.
We simply just can’t rip out the existing code and tell users to re-deploy.

Hi All:
There was a good discuss about Ceph Containerization task and schedule during the 10th china open source hackathon.

open questions/risk:
1.Ceph Images will be pull directly from upstream or built from stx
    2. Sysinv integration with Ceph.
    3. Ceph feature branch ?
       needed branch ha / stx-puppet / config / platform-armada-app / ansible-playbooks / integ / utilities
    4.rook -client code repo
      like ceph-client
    5. librados / rgw provide
    6. Test case/Test Strategy.

Schedule/Plan:
1)Python Rook Plugin for Sysinv and Command Tingjie / 2020-1-1
  2)Bootstrap and Helm-Override Mapping Martin / 2020-1-4
3)CSI Provider Replace Rbd Provider for Sysinv KubeApp Martin / 2020-1-20
  4)SysInv Openstack Interface support provisioning (Cinder/Swift) Tingjie / 2020-1-20
5)Integration/System command/Patch upload ??? Wait for the 4th task finish and Plan
  6)Old code cleanup

The Detail info was put in etherpad [1], but it was changed simple Chinese characters in some section.

Thanks Tingjie, Martin and Yong.
