Agenda & Notes for 2/20 meeting:
1. CentOS 7.6 upgrade test status (Ada/Numan)
2 bugs found during 1st round validation:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/1814360
https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/1814335
both have patch merged to f/CentOS7.6
2nd round validation report from GDC received, no new issue reported from Ricardo.
found several issues, few test cases pending to run. Most related to security (https, low latency, secure boot) remaining. Still waiting for the builds to pick up the patch (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/634559/) . AR for Numan to contact Ken to get correct builds. So will be 2-3 days validation effort remaining.
We will not have f/CentOS7.6 merged to master before container.
2. Ceph upgrade status (Frank, Changcheng)
Changcheng finished moving Ceph spec wrs file into stx-integ repo. Will squash small patches into bigger ones.
Ovidiu: Daniel working on ceph-pythonclient lib, will integrate into sys-inv code. Prototyping done.
Workspace to define the collabration btw WR and Intel will be send out by Ovidiu so that both teams can build the same code using same manifest.
Proposal of the test plan for joint plan w/ a list of milestones.
3. DevStack status update (Yi/Dean)
Dean: switch to Openstack & Devstack master in 2 wks. taking time for the changes in all repos. get the plug-ins infra working again, then get the services run again. Problems for the dependencies for the services are in circular. and we have to enable certain services in order. Get the dependencies sorted out.
List the order of the things - please send the list to Yi/Martin. focus on get the platform working with the master Openstack/Devstack right now. AR: Yi to provide a start-point of service dependencies and work with Dean to define the right order to enable the flock plug-in.
Yi: 10+ services to be enabled in 5 repos. 11 tasks created in 5 storyboards.1 patch submitted to bring up 2 services in stx-nfv project. Need to switch to Stein now.
consumer could be in testing side, for example REST_API testing can be moved from post build; also for developers to test the services as well.
