As per review in the StarlingX Release meeting on July 18/2019, stx.3.0 Milestone-1 has been declared.
The minutes are as follows:
- Milestone-1 - Initial Content List available
- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZFR-9-riwhIwiBYBmWmi1qOVyHtgJ8Xk_FaF2jp5rY0/edit#gid=1010323020
- Reviewed list and agreed that it meets MS-1 criteria. Milestone declared
- Open Action: Need to determine review bandwidth for stx.3.0 and how the features are prioritized in terms of that review bandwidth
- A key input here is having a view of where the code churn is expected for each feature
Regards,
Ghada

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] stx.3.0 Milestone-1 status
Hello all,
The stx.3.0 milestone-1 is planned for this week.
The criteria for the milestone are as follows:
- Release priorities and major features defined.
- High level resourcing secured.
Reference: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/StarlingX/Release_Plan#Release_Milestones
Based on the candidate feature list that has been reviewed with the TSC and project leads from the community, the release planning team feels that we are in a good position for the milestone.
The candidate list is available at:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZFR-9-riwhIwiBYBmWmi1qOVyHtgJ8Xk_FaF2jp5rY0/edit#gid=1010323020
Additional features/specs can still be proposed/reviewed. The next milestone is spec freeze which is currently scheduled for the week of August 12. At that point, no new specs will be considered for stx.3.0.
The milestone will be more formally reviewed in the next community meeting on July 17/2019.
Regards,
Ghada
