Hi Jose,

You use “helm inspect <chart>” to look at the chart’s values in the helm repo:

[sysadmin at controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ helm inspect starlingx/nova | head
apiVersion: v1
description: OpenStack-Helm Nova
home: https://docs.openstack.org/nova/latest/
icon: https://www.openstack.org/themes/openstack/images/project-mascots/Nova/OpenStack_Project_Nova_vertical.png
maintainers:
- name: OpenStack-Helm Authors
name: nova
sources:
- https://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/openstack-helm

You use “helm get values <release>” to get current values of the released service:

[sysadmin at controller-0 ~(keystone_admin)]$ helm get values osh-openstack-nova | head
ceph_client:
  user_secret_name: ceph-pool-kube-rbd
conf:
  ceph:
    enabled: true
    ephemeral_storage:
      rbd_pools:
      - rbd_chunk_size: 512
        rbd_crush_rule: storage_tier_ruleset
        rbd_pool_name: ephemeral

Bob

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] [Containers] How to retrieve data from a helm chart already applied

Hi

I’m trying to inspect a chart already applied on the StarlignX deployment, does anyone knows if I’m missing something on the steps mentioned below, because currently I’m not able to retrieve the data.

controller-0:~$ helm list |grep nova
osh-openstack-nova 1 Thu Jul 18 19:32:41 2019 DEPLOYED nova-0.1.0 openstack
osh-openstack-nova-api-proxy 1 Thu Jul 18 19:32:41 2019 DEPLOYED nova-api-proxy-0.1.0 openstack
