It's here: http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-discuss/2019-May/006726.html

For those of you who aren't subscribed to openstack-discuss... I'm not sure the best way for you to respond. I guess reply to me and/or Bruce and we'll post on your behalf?

Thanks,
efried

Thanks Bruce.

Expect a more detailed query soon - we're still working out what and how to ask - but the main point of interest is something like:

Is it a hard requirement to be able to mix NUMA-aware and non-NUMA-aware guests on the same host?

If you can live without this, many things become simpler (the entire 'can_split' section of the reference spec - and the dozens of associated comments - will melt away into nothingness).

Thanks,
efried

StarlingX community: here is a link to a new spec under review in Nova that may be of interest. Eric is looking for comments and feedback, especially from operators. I’d give this review a +1 just for the title. ☺

Bruce – Here is spec.

Eric – possibly can you provide some context of what information you’d be seeking from operators 😊.
