Hi Saul
When you begin to build distro layer, before downloading mirror for distro layer building, you firstly should add a local repo
How to set up a local mirror in build container
1, ensure build output of compile layer, add to lighttpd service
$ cd /www/root/htdocs/
$ ls localdisk/loadbuild/<your user name>/<your project name for compile layer>/
2, generate tis_pkg.lst in ls /localdisk/loadbuild/<your user name>/<your project name for compile layer>/, which should be access
$ cd /localdisk/loadbuild/<your user name>/<your project name for compile layer>/
$ ls std/rpmbuild/RPMS/ rt/rpmbuild/RPMS/ -l | awk '/.*\.tis\..*/ {print $9}' > tis_pkg.lst
Build distro layer
1, sync code for distro layer
$ repo init -u https://opendev.org/starlingx/manifest.git -m distro.xml
$ repo sync
2, update these file, because you setup a local repo
Stx-tool/centos-mirror-tools/config/centos/distro/yum.repos.d/StarlingX_cengn_compile_layer.repo
Update this line with your user name and project name for compile layer
baseurl=http://127.0.0.1:8088/localdisk/loadbuild/<your user name>/<compile layer project name>/std/rpmbuild/RPMS/
3, download mirror for distro layer
$ download_mirror.sh -n -g -l distro -c config/centos/distro/yum.conf.sample -S
Copy download mirror file to mirror folder
$ generate-cgcs-centos-repo.sh --layer=distro /import/mirrors/distro
$ populate_downloads.sh /import/mirrors/distro
4, Ensure compile built package, with tis named, in distro mirror

5, build pkgs for distro layer
$ build-pkgs
For develop process, we have to setup a local repo to emulate cengn mirror change, which is task 35961 and task 35962 for this story.
Also after all the patch merged for layer building. Scott and Penny should update cengn. And I currently comment setting in these file, request scott or Penney to update depending on their CENGA setting.

Hi Martin:
I am continuing to test the layer'ed build, I was able to build compile standalone, and then attempted to build distro in the same build area, but I seem to get a failure in kubernetes package build.
See the attached root.log.
Thanks
Sau!
