Thanks for the reply.

To overcome the issue, I attached the external harddisk to the system.


sdb                                   8:16   0   1.8T  0 disk /data


But still I am facing same issue because command host-disk-list is still
not able to see the sdb device and at the same time I am able to use the
disk as I mounted it and formatted as ext4.
