[Starlingx-discuss] pci-class (FPGA) maybe incorrect in sysinv

Hi All,

I am adding support for an FPGA device (revision id 1) and came across a
problem where FPGA sriov fails because the class id is 120001 versus
120000. BUT the '1' is the revision ID.

That is:

grep PCI_DEVICE_CLASS_FPGA ./sysinv/sysinv/sysinv/common/device.py
PCI_DEVICE_CLASS_FPGA = '120000'

But from here: https://wiki.osdev.org/PCI
The PCI_DEVICE_CLASS_FPGA contains: class code, subclass, ProgIF, and
Revision ID.

Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a reason to include both
ProgIF and Revision ID?
