Agenda for 9/8/2020
Attendees: Yang, Oliver, Nic

·         Sanity Status:

  *   Sep 4 build was green

  *   No new build since then - build team is investigating
·         stx3.1 testing:

  *   Nic's team: Internal test jenkins server is down and is being worked on to bring it back
·         stx4.0 testing:

  *   CNCF Sonobuoy
§  It's getting docker images from docker.io directly, Nic has not figured out the recipe for installing Sonobuoy
§  Nic's team will continue to investigate
§  Yang's team will try sonobuoy test in the meantime due to tight timeline
·         Open topics:

  *   Doc testing
§  What is procedure to request Doc testing?
·         Most of new contents are tracked via launchpads or task under a story if designer is going to add the doc
·         Greg/Mary to create launchpads for explict testing, and provide query to test team. The backlog will be discussed and assigned in test meeting
·         Doc test LP will be assigned to Yang or Nic for triage

  *   Automation:
§  Move daily sanity from robot to pytest
§  Unified sanity - make use of original pytest sanity test cases
·         Review the setups for openstack neutron
§  Convert existing robot tests to pytest if not already exists in pytest

  *   Test In the Open
§  Build team is working on generating Qcow image
§  Nic and Yang's team will work together to prototype test in the open with 1 SX vm
