Hi Danishka. The StarlingX project documents hardware requirements in the installation guides. For instance this doc [1] describes the min hardware requirements for the Standard with Dedicated Storage configuration.
Most testing of StarlingX occurs outside of community resources. My company has a test lab consisting of a range of systems that we use for testing. In general the software supports the amd64 architecture and I would recommend Xeon-D series processors or the equivalent as a minimum for controller and worker nodes.
It’s really your budget and your workload requirements that determine how much capacity you need. You can see this link [2] for more info on planning a deployment.
