Hi StarlingX Community,

I’m reaching out about the #starlingx IRC channel.

I’ve recognized more and more people hopping in the project channel on Freenode to ask questions and get in touch with the community. The questions often go unanswered and there is rarely any communication happening there. It would be great to have more people from the community to join the channel and help newcomers who are evaluating the project or are interested in joining the community.

The last question I saw was about a robot test case failure. Other questions are also around deploying the software. I think having people from the test team along with a few others who are more experienced with deploying StarlingX would be very helpful. We can learn a lot from issues that people run into as well as it is a great way to grow the community.

If you need guidance on how to join IRC you can find information about the steps here: https://docs.openstack.org/contributors/common/irc.html#setup-irc

Please let me know if you have any questions or issues joining the channel, I would be happy to help.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Ildikó
