Hi,
Does the StarlingX central cloud support remote installation of a
distributed cloud using IPMI/Redfish? To get it to a stage that
config_management commands can be run. For unattended or zero-touch
installs.
I looked at the distcloud and bare-metal APIs and could not find a method
to specify a ISO or HDD image as the initial installation source.
https://docs.starlingx.io/api-ref/stx-distcloud/
https://docs.starlingx.io/api-ref/metal/api-ref-sysinv-v1-metal.html
The R4.0 release notes talk about "Redfish virtual media support". Can it
be used for this?
I looked at the source and see the following script, but can't determine if
it's instrumented to any StarlingX CLI.
https://opendev.org/starlingx/metal/src/branch/master/tools/rvmc/centos/docker/rvmc.py
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pratik
