Hun, sorry, I didn't go this far.

We were able to run all the commands to install OpenStack (based on the documentation) but I personally haven't done anything more than that. We have a Review in progress working on this installation and setup of OpenStack on top of the Virtualbox install.

Cool.

And pod of OpenStack Nova does provision KVM VMs (and networks) via Libvirtd running bare metal on your Ubuntu?

Hey, Vitalino.

You should be able to get an All-in-one Simplex (AIO-SX) running on top of an Operating System via VirtualBox with that hardware. I have the following and I'm able to run an AIO-SX:

* Ubuntu 20.04
* Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz (4 cores, 8 threads)
* 32 GiB of memory
* 512 GiB SSD (but you might be good with only 240)

I think that I do not have resources for running StarlingX virtualized.

My environment has 1 machine with:
* Intel Xeon E5-2667V4
* 32 GiB of memory DDR4
* 240 GiB SSD Sata
* 1 NIC

Hi Vitalino,

have you tried to run StarlingX on a virtualized environment to execute your tests?

Hi

I saw that in the All-in-one Simplex configuration documentation, it is suggested to use three NICs.

Just for testing purposes with StarlingX, is it possible to configure it to only use one network interface?
